The patch for the 6th esport season of WRC 9 is available !

In addition to bringing new options and content (addition of the Arabic language, 120 Hz mode and high visual quality, as well as bug fixes) the release of the new esport patch formalizes the 6th edition of the WRC 9 world championships.

The championship will begin on January 15, 2021. Toyota GAZOO Racing is the official sponsor, as well as manufacturers Fanatec, Playseat and BenQ. They are going to support the competition throughout the 2021 season.

Composed of 13 stages, this new calendar will invite the most talented players to show their potential on the 13 rallies of the game. The competition takes place from January to July, before competing again for a world final at the end of the year 2021. All players owning WRC 9 on PC, Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox 1 and Xbox Series X can try to qualify in the competition. 

In previous seasons, virtual rallies were held as much as possible on the same weekends as their real-world counterparts. In 2021, however, esports events will take place in the week before the actual events.
