Technologie 3D KT Engine

Our production line is 100% proprietary. Keystones are our 3D rendering engine ‘Kt Engine’ and our in game level editor ‘Kt Toolkit’.

Tried and trued on our ‘BoS’ trilogy, ‘KT Engine’ is able to push the latest 3D cards to their limits. Updated late 2005, we are already using ‘Kt Engine’s 2.0 Next Gen evolution for ongoing and future productions.
We took our engine a step further by allowing advanced shaders, better rendering post process and several display & information flow optimization:

- Full 3D engine: rendering / animations / sounds / collisions

- Visual aspect and performance cutting edge technology (bump mapping, lighmap, post process, etc.).

- Advanced lightning management (shadow map, Stencil shadow, etc.).

- Sector/portal optimization system.

- User friendly for 3D artists.


Combining ‘Kt Engine’ and ‘Kt Toolkit’ makes a very powerful production tool and we have the track record to prove it.
Our level editor is versatile, user friendly and allows us to test in game all modifications on the fly.
Kylotonn also teamed up with prestigious middleware or hardware partners such as AGEIA (PhysiX) or nVidia (3D video cards GeForce).
